The backbone of a democratic society is education.
People who can read, write and calculate are able to actively participate in the social life and development of a country.
After a general basic education and further training, the learning of a profession is also vital. With the acquired expertise and employment, one feeds one’s family and contributes to the increase of the national gross domestic product. Skilled craftsmanship, applied in the economic cycle, strengthens medium-sized businesses and promotes social development.
We initiate and support, for years, projects for vocational training and qualification.
In the commitment between Berlin and Sierra Leone for vocational training, we have been awarded several times as a decade-project “Education for Sustainable Development”.
